iPhone Killers Killing Each Other

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? This is the case with iPhone and Apple's so-called iOS devices. After so much bickering at work, and in my personal life about Apple vs others, I had decided to stop sounding like a fanatic. However something happened yesterday and I could keep my silence no longer. I and a colleague tested two smart-phones yesterday one of them on Windows mobile and the other on Android with a multi-touch screen, just to open an e-mail message, click the link on the message and then write some comments on the page where the link would take me. Such a simple task would take less than one minute on the iPhone, but it took 10 and 5 minutes on the Windows mobile and Android devices respectively to perform exactly the same task described above. Apple's iPad Tablet - A disappointment or an Elation?

Yesterday (on Jan 27th, 2010 - 3 days after the Mac's 26th anniversary), Apple announced the launch of the iPad, its new Tablet device - a completely new product line which fits somewhere between the iPhone and the iPod Touch, and the MacBook. While some call iPad a great innovative device which could go handy as a portable multi-touch HD video player, eBook and ePaper reader i color and style, a 3D game console, and an Internet surfing and communication device as well as a basic portable Mac computer (thanks to Apple's adapted suite of photo editing tools, a Cocoa-touch version of iWork which I would call Apple's answer to Microsoft Office), others call it as a disappointment regarding to the tablet as an enlarged version of iPod Touch or an iphone without a camera - probably because of the fact that the the tablet device works much like an iPhone, running the applications presently available for the iPhone thanks to its iPhone OS-based operating system running on a microc...
